Information We Collect

We may collect information you provide directly to us, including your name, email address, account credentials, profile information, resume content, work history, education, skills, job applications, messages you send through the service, employer account details, company profile information, and support requests.

We may also collect technical and usage information such as IP address, browser type, device information, approximate location inferred from IP, pages viewed, clicks, referring URLs, session identifiers, and security or fraud-prevention logs.

If you submit information about another person, such as a candidate or a hiring contact, you are responsible for making sure you have the right to share that information with us.

How We Use Information

We use information to operate the service, create and maintain accounts, authenticate users, publish job postings, allow candidates to apply for roles, display resumes and applications to authorized employers, personalize the experience, provide customer support, and communicate about service-related matters.

We may also use information to protect the service, prevent abuse, detect fraud, investigate suspicious activity, enforce our policies, improve product performance, comply with legal obligations, and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

Where allowed by law, we may use limited contact information to send updates about the platform, product announcements, or similar administrative communications. You can opt out of non-essential marketing communications when those are offered.

How Information May Be Shared

Candidate profile information, resumes, cover letters, and application materials may be shared with employers, recruiters, or other hiring organizations that are authorized to review a role you apply to or are otherwise permitted to access your profile through the service.

We may share information with vendors and service providers that help us host, secure, maintain, or support the platform, subject to appropriate contractual restrictions.

We may also disclose information when required by law, court order, subpoena, or other lawful process, or when we believe disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect users, the platform, or the public.

If the business is involved in a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, or bankruptcy transaction, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.

Cookies, Tracking, and Similar Technologies

We use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to keep users signed in, remember settings such as theme preferences, protect accounts, maintain sessions, and understand platform performance and usage. See our Cookie Policy for more detail.

If we later introduce analytics, advertising, or other optional tracking technologies, we may provide additional controls, banners, or notices where required by law.

Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to personal information, request deletion, request correction, appeal certain decisions, opt out of certain data-sharing practices, or limit the use of certain sensitive personal information.

California users may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, including the right to know, delete, correct, opt out of sale or sharing if applicable, and not be discriminated against for exercising privacy rights.

Requests should be submitted using the contact information or support channel made available by the site operator. We may need to verify identity before fulfilling a request.

Retention and Security

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, meet legal obligations, and protect the platform.

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No internet or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children and International Transfers

The service is intended for users who are old enough to use employment-related platforms under applicable law. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If information is transferred across borders, we will process it in accordance with applicable law and take reasonable steps to protect it.

Important Compliance Note

This policy is a platform baseline and should be reviewed and customized for the actual data flows, vendors, jurisdictions, and business practices used in production. It is not a substitute for legal advice.
